Product description

OptiβMax-BF® is a medium designed for EndoC-βH1® cell culture. OptiβMax-BF® medium is the BSA-free version of the original version of OptiβMax® medium. OptiβMax-BF® requires to be completed with 2% (w/v) of Fatty acid free fraction V bovine serum albumin (Fatty acid free BSA). For OptiβMax-BF® medium reconstitution, please rigorously respect Fatty acid free BSA reference 10775835001 from Roche to obtain robust and validated results. OptiβMax-BF® enables significant improvement of cell growth and ensures stability and viability of EndoC-βH1® cells from early passages and throughout extended cultures. Compared to published medium, OptiβMax-BF® significantly raises the weekly proliferation index from 1.6 to 2.6, allowing you to optimize each of your experimental designs. OptiβMax-BF® is chemically defined and validated through rigorous internal quality controls.
