Human Cell Design has participated in the 20th IDS congress in Bruges (Belgium). During the event, we presented a poster and have been delighted to see EndoC-βH® models frequently used in type 1 diabetes research.

The IDS is a scientific society dedicated to improving understanding and treatment of type 1 diabetes (T1D). The IDS group organizes every 18 months an international congress on T1D researches and advances.

We presented a poster on how EndoC-βH5® model can support cell therapy development in preclinical & clinical phase throughout a stable and robust native-like cell line. The improvement on batch-to-batch reproducibility and batch capacity (>500 vials/batch) allows quality validation of GMP hPSCs lot for clinical studies. EndoC-βH5® are highly functional and can now be the ideal control for potency and efficacy assays.
