A ready-to-use pure population of mature functional human beta cells
EndoC-βH5® cells are a major improvement over other models as they are highly similar to native human pancreatic beta cells. They show robust, human beta islets-like levels of insulin secretion in response to glucose and strong GLP-1/GIP receptor activity, making them ideal for studying beta cell physiology, function & apoptosis in diabetes and obesity.
